Memories of Anne Frank; Reflections of a Childhood Friend book reveiw by Genevieve K.
I loved the book Memories of Anne Frank; Reflections of a Childhood Friend because of the emotion and all the detail in it. She perfectly illustrates the fear of being captured an deported to who knows where by the Nazis. She shares the sorrow she feels when Albert, her boyfriend has to suddenly say goodbye and never lives to see her again. you can almost feel the happiness of being liberated after being held captive for so long. The details in the book are also very amazing - like how she remembers precisely how much she could take with her when she left home and how everyone watched to make sure that the soup they got was scooped from the bottom where the food was instead of the watery top. I highly recommend this book to anyone who liked the Diary of Anne Frank.
